Role Description
This is an on-site full-time role for a Financial Controller located in Kaslik – Lebanon. The Financial Controller will be responsible for the below:
1. Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Develop and manage the annual budgeting process.
- Work with department heads to create budgetary guidelines and monitor budget performance.
- Provide regular financial forecasts and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
2. Cash Management:
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure the availability of funds for operational needs.
- Implement cash management strategies to optimize working capital.
3. Financial Analysis:
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and identify areas for cost optimization.
- Evaluate financial performance against key business metrics and benchmarks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar financial management role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and financial software (Microsoft Dynamics is strongly recommended)
- Experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus
