Role Description

This is an on-site full-time role for a Financial Controller located in Kaslik – Lebanon. The Financial Controller will be responsible for the below:

1. Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Develop and manage the annual budgeting process.
  • Work with department heads to create budgetary guidelines and monitor budget performance.
  • Provide regular financial forecasts and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.

2. Cash Management:

  • Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure the availability of funds for operational needs.
  • Implement cash management strategies to optimize working capital.

3. Financial Analysis:

  • Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and identify areas for cost optimization.
  • Evaluate financial performance against key business metrics and benchmarks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar financial management role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and financial software (Microsoft Dynamics is strongly recommended)
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus
